Philosophy for Children Homework

P4C learning begins with a stimulus that is presented to the children for them to discuss. The stimulus usually presents big ideas (concepts) such as Love, Friendship, Strength, Belief, etc. Children create questions and explore the concepts that they draw out. P4C focuses on 4 key skills: critical, creative, caring and collaborative thinking. During the sessions the children will acquire these skills and evaluate and review their progress at the end.

P4C homework is a way to discuss big ideas (concepts) with parents and carers. This can be in the form of first thoughts or an answer to a question.
